Patti Faroh Kindergarten - White

Hello, I am Patti Faroh and this is my first year at Sacred Heart.  I am thrilled to be here!

I am teaching Kindergarten mornings and Viking Ventures in the afternoons.  I look forward to this position and the joys of working with your children.

I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 28 years.  We have 2 grown children, Michele (26) who is a pharmaceutical representative for Eli Lilly in Fort Wayne, and Jimmy (22) who is a data analyst for PayLeap and just moved here to Warsaw.  We also have a 14 year old miniature schnauzer that has all of our hearts!  Jim and I have put our home in Huntington up for sale and, hopefully, we will be residents of Warsaw in the not too distant future!  Until then, we are enjoying the commute together!

This is my 31st year of teaching.  I began my career at Notre Dame in Michigan City, IN where I taught 3rd and 4th grade for 4 years.  I then taught K, 1, and 2 at St. Mary's in Michigan City for 16 years.  During 13 of those 16 years, Jim was my principal and i had he joy of teaching both of my children when they were in first grade.

In 2000 we moved to Marion, IN where I taught in the public schools for the past 10 years.  During that time I taught in 3 different schools and taught first grade for 7 years and Kindergarten for the past 3 years.  In 2005 I was honored to be selected as The Teacher of the Year for Marion Community Schools.   I received extensive training and professional development over the past 10 years.

Again, I am thrilled to be returning to the Catholic Schools.  Since I left in 2000, I have missed teaching "under the umbrella" of Catholic Education.  I am confident that my teaching experience and professional development have well prepared me for this new position.  I look forward to a great "first" year here at Sacred Heart School.
