Patti Faroh Kindergarten - White

Hello, I am Patti Faroh and I will be teaching All Day Kindergarten this year. I look forward to this position and the joys of working with your children. I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 29 years. We have 2 grown children: Michele (27) is a pharmaceutical representative for Eli Lilly in Fort Wayne. Michele was just married in August, 2 days before school started! She and her new husband, Paul, live in Fort Wayne. Our son, Jimmy (23), is a network analyst for PayLeap. He became a Warsaw homeowner this past year. We also have a 14 1/2 year old miniature schnauzer that has all of our hearts! Jim and I have also become residents of Warsaw this past summer. We are thrilled to be part of the Warsaw community and give up the daily commute from Huntington! This is my 32nd year of teaching. I began my career at Notre Dame in Michigan City, IN where I taught 3rd and 4th grade for 4 years. I then taught K, 1, and 2 at St. Mary's in Michigan City for 16 years. During 13 of those 16 years, Jim was my principal. During that time, also, I had the joy of teaching both of our children when they were in first grade. In 2000 we moved to Marion, IN where I taught in the public schools for 10 years. During that time I taught in 3 different schools- first grade for 7 years and Kindergarten for 3 years. In 2005 I was honored to be selected as "The Teacher of the Year" for Marion Community Schools. I received extensive training and professional development over those 10 years. I am thrilled to be teaching again in the Catholic Schools. Since I left in 2000, I missed teaching "under the umbrella" of Catholic Education. I look forward to another great year here at Sacred Heart School!
