Daily Assignments

Fourth Grade

This week we will be continuing to work on the trait "ideas."  In grammar we are looking at punctuation.

The students will begin reading "The Owl in the Shower"  focusing on theme and character development.

Students also received their AR goal points this week.

Fifth Grade

The fifth grade will continue working on sentence construction and doing some work with the Six Traits  of "ideas".

They have received their AR goals as well.

We will begin reading the novel "From the Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler"

Sixth Grade

Sixth graders continue to work on sentence structure in grammar.

We are looking at the Stone Age in social studies and will be reading some articles out of the social studies book this week.

Students have received their AR goals.

We will begin reading the novel "The Red Kayak" this week:  focusing on themes and characters.
