Dottie Kissell Grade 6

Hello!  My name is Dottie Kissell and I am in my ninth year teaching sixth grade at Sacred Heart. I grew up and attended Catholic schools in southern Ohio.  After meeting my husband in Cincinnati, we moved to South Bend and I stayed home to raise our growing family.  Twenty years ago we moved to Culver.  I taught in a small parochial school in Monterey before coming to Sacred Heart. I have been very happy here and love what I do.  I am particularly excited about teaching the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Reading and Language Arts. It is a challenge, but I love working with the different ages and sharing my love of literature with them.   I also enjoy helping out with the Track Team.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing cards, and improving my golf game with my husband, Herb. We enjoy spending time with our children and their families, and love watching our 9 grandchildren grow up.
