READING:  One Dark Night

VOCABULARY: pours, thunder, storm, lightning, flashes, pounds, rolling


PHONICS: Prefixes like: "re", "pre", "dis", "un", Review long and short vowels like mat and meat.


LANGUAGE:  Use of pronouns like I, we, she, he, it, they


SPELLING:  lightning, great, tell, men, say, small, strikes, concern, animals, pronoun. Chall:  sequence, protection, thunderstorm


MATH: Test Tues. over solid figures (solid figures like sphere, cube etc.) Study pgs. 339 & 340. Begin symmetry and congruence (same shape and size).   

RELIGION: Chapter 15 Jesus Gives Us the Eucharist


SOCIAL STUDIES:  Our Country Grows


NOTES: Math test Tuesday.  Early release day on Thurs. 11:45
