Kallie Kirkendall Art Class

I graduated from Indiana University in 2006 with a degree in Visual Art Education.  This is my third year teaching art at Sacred Heart and my second year working in the Viking Ventures Classroom.  I feel so blessed to work at such a wonderful school!

Art has always been very important to my whole  family. My parents have Warsaw Cut Glass, where my father hand cuts glass on a stone wheel. My mother was a sculpture major and now works in sales at our family business. I have a sister and brother, who are both very artistic (one is a writer and the other is into architecture).  I was born and raised in the Warsaw area.  My Hoosier roots go all the way back to the first sheriff of Kosciusko County.  I currently live in Winona Lake with my two kitty cats.

Below are pictures of art projects we have been working on in different classes. Make sure to look outside your student's classrooms every once in awhile to see their works of art hanging in the hallway!
